Implementation Plans & Progress Report Posters

All major units have crafted a DI&A Implementation Plan that meets the unique needs of their student, faculty and staff community. Units are expected to report annually on progress made on each of their proposed goals. Many goals are 3- to 5-year benchmarks and are not required to be fully addressed each year. Departments and campus units create posters to show how they are working toward achieving those goals, what the accomplishments are to date and what is still in progress.

Review Implementation Plans from other units. This shared repository presents an opportunity for units to identify similar goals and foster collaboration. These are working documents. Units are encouraged to keep their plans current as progress is made to make for easy reporting each year. Must have a Mines email address to access this repository.

Progress Report Posters

These posters are intended to highlight department and units’ top diversity implementation plan goals, their alignment with the Mines DI&A strategic plan and the outcome/impact of those efforts during the celebration of DI&A on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024. The new poster template outlines instructions and information needed for posters to capture units’ most important DI&A activities. In addition, posters will be reviewed by a committee and scored. This evaluation rubric can be used to familiarize your DI&A committee with how posters will be evaluated during the Celebration. The top scoring posters will receive Diversity Progress Report awards. Just in case your DI&A committee needs a boost to get started, check out this poster example. Content was graciously provided by the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering (GGE). Mines DI&A expanded on GGE’s content with hypothetical metrics, goals and outcomes to illustrate how to connect units’ work from their diversity progress report activities into the postersIf you have questions or need support, please contact Heather Houlton, Mines DI&A Research Analyst.
