Academic Year 2023-2024

The following rates are the room rates for the 2023-2024 academic year.
These rates have been confirmed by the Mines Board of Trustees as of June 2023.

HOUSING RATES

All rates are per person per semester.
Rate is charged on a semester basis.

A resident meal plan is required for all students residing in the Residence Halls as part of their room and board contract.

Single Room – $6,201.00 per person per semester

Double Room – $4,997.00 per person per semester

Triple Room – $4,220.00 per person per semester

Note: Optional bike and storage lockers are a flat fee once a year of $150, paid at the start of the academic year. Bike and storage locker spaces are given by lottery in the summer prior to the fall semester.

Sophomore-Only Community

All rates are per person per semester.
Rate is charged on a semester basis.

Private Studio – $7,556.00 per person per semester

Two-Bedroom Unit – Double Room – $5,748.00 per person per semester

Three-Bedroom Unit – Single Room – $6,594.00 per person per semester

Three-Bedroom Unit – Double Room – $5,748.00 per person per semester

Mines Park Apartments
Upper-Division + Family Housing

Residents at Mines Park Apartments are responsible for their own Xcel Utilities. The rates listed below include parking, laundry, internet, water and trash.

Family Housing (rates are per month per unit)

One-Bedroom Family Unit: $1,463.00 per unit per month

Two-Bedroom Family Unit: $1,652.00 per unit per month

 
Single Students (rate are per person per month)

One-Bedroom Unit with 1 student: $1,463.00 per person per month

One-Bedroom Unit with 2 students: $731.50 per person per month

Two-Bedroom Unit: $992.00 per person per month

Three-Bedroom Unit: $871.00 per person per month

MEAL PLAN RATES

Resident Meal Plans

A resident meal plan is required for all students residing in the Residence Halls (including second-year students in Maple Hall but excluding second-year students in 1750 Jackson) as part of their room and board contract.

First-year students residing in the Residence Halls may choose from Marble, Marble Plus, Quartz, and Quartz Plus meal plans. Second-year students residing in Maple Hall may choose from any of the resident meal plans available.

Residence Hall students have the option to change their meal plan the first week of each semester.

Marble* – $3,413 per semester

19 meal swipes per week plus $205 Munch Money**


Marble Plus* – $3,563.00 per semester

19 meal swipes per week plus $355 Munch Money**


Quartz* – $3,345.00 per semester

14 meal swipes per week plus $205 Munch Money**


Quartz Plus* – $3,495.00 per semester

14 meal swipes per week plus $355 Munch Money**


Granite – $3,145.00 per semester

10 meal swipes per week plus $255 Munch Money**
Second-Year students in Maple Hall only


Granite Plus – $3,295.00 per semester

*Marble, Marble Plus, Quartz, and Quartz Plus will include 3 meal exchanges per week, which can be used for meals in designated on-campus retail locations during designated hours.

**Munch Money rolls over from fall to spring semester. Munch Money does not roll over from one academic year to the next.
