  1. If you are a December graduate or a student currently seeking employment, Jeffco is having an All Position Hiring Fair on Nov. 8th from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Jeffco Public Schools Education Center (1829 Denver West Drive, Building #27, Golden). The flyer is located here. They are hiring for Teachers, Mental Health Providers, Paras, Bus Drivers, Custodians and so much more!   2. The Digital Teacher Librarian at Shelton Elementary is looking for students to help facilitate coding & robotics activities. She usually makes a slideshow that goes over all instructions and the students are given time to work on their projects and the volunteers monitor and help guide their learning/coding.  Please reach out to Cadi at cadi.gillette@mines.edu with any questions you may have.   3. The TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science program is looking for Mines students to serve as tutors! TRIO UBMS is a relatively new to Mines federal grant funded college access program serving first-generation/low-income high school students interested in STEM fields. For the tutoring position, Mines students who are interested will need to be able to get to and from Alameda International Jr./Sr. High School at least once a week during the school day (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) to provide tutoring to our participants. Outside of the school day requirement, scheduling and hours are flexible based on student availability. They will pay $16/hour including commuting time.
