- If you are a December graduate or a student currently seeking employment, Jeffco is having an All Position Hiring Fair on Nov. 8th from 4:30pm-6:30pm at the Jeffco Public Schools Education Center (1829 Denver West Drive, Building #27, Golden). The flyer is located here. They are hiring for Teachers, Mental Health Providers, Paras, Bus Drivers, Custodians and so much more! - The Digital Teacher Librarian at Shelton Elementary is looking for students to help facilitate coding & robotics activities. She usually makes a slideshow that goes over all instructions and the students are given time to work on their projects and the volunteers monitor and help guide their learning/coding. - The TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science program is looking for Mines students to serve as tutors! TRIO UBMS is a relatively new to Mines federal grant funded college access program serving first-generation/low-income high school students interested in STEM fields. For the tutoring position, Mines students who are interested will need to be able to get to and from Alameda International Jr./Sr. High School at least once a week during the school day (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) to provide tutoring to our participants. Outside of the school day requirement, scheduling and hours are flexible based on student availability. They will pay $16/hour including commuting time.
