Hope you are staying warm today! We wanted to announce two scholarship awards tailored for dedicated advisors and established educators. These programs offer unique opportunities to develop professionally as well as further engage and contribute to the vibrant English teaching community in Taiwan:

FSE English Teacher Trainer Program – TEFL Advisor Scholarship
Duration: 11 months (August 1st, 2024 – June 30th, 2025)
Description: This program empowers qualified TEFL teachers or professors to serve as Academic Advisors for Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs) and English Teaching Flagship (ETF) participants. Advisors play a crucial role in creating a thriving English teaching environment in Taiwan through visits, observations, consultati
ns, and coordination.

FSE English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) Specialist & Teacher Trainer Program – EMI Advisor Scholarship
Duration: 6 or 11 months (Please refer to the attachment.)
Description: Designed for experienced EMI instructors or professors, this program allows advisors to support English teaching assistants in ETA and ETF programs, EMI instructors, and teaching assistants in enhancing the quality of EMI courses. Advisors contribute to the internationalization of academic programs in Taiwanese universities through visits, observations, consultations, and coordination.

Additionally, we would like let you know about the ETF Program, which continues to offer a unique blend of professional development and cultural immersion for both experienced teachers and recent college graduates.

FSE X MOE English Teaching Flagship Awards
Duration: 11 months (August 1st, 2024 – June 30th, 2025)
Description: This program, in partnership with Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, offers a unique blend of professional development and cultural immersion for educators. It’s known for robust support systems, expert training advisors, abundant cultural exchange opportunities, and daily assistance.
